Josh edged out Ben McIntosh and Bryce Rafferty to be named best and fairest in his first season at the club, while his wife Jess pipped Beck O'Connell by one vote to land the A-grade netball award.
It's not the first time the couple has landed the double, first achieving the feat with Glenrowan back in 2016.
For Jess, this season marked her homecoming after departing the Roos as a 16-year-old to join the Ovens and Murray League.
"It was very special to go back to my home club where I played all of my junior years," she said.
"I always knew I'd come back."
It was also Jess' first time back on court since the pair welcomed their one-year-old daughter Elsie into the world.
Despite working as a pelvic floor physiotherapist, she admitted her return came with some challenges.
"I definitely don't feel like I bounced back easily and it was logistically hard managing breastfeeding when I had to get on the court and play that captain role," she said.
"My body was definitely hurting in a lot of the training sessions and games.
"By the end of the season I had found my rhythm and was starting to feel a bit stronger, but the start was tough.
"The girls were really understanding and supportive."

Jess is now excited to welcome her best friend and former Albury Tigers teammate Justine Willis onboard as the Roos' coach next season.
"She's just such a beautiful person, her netball knowledge is incredible and she's an amazing leader," she said.
"The club is so lucky to have her in that role."
After growing up in Beechworth, Josh said he was welcomed with open arms into Yackandandah this season.
"A lot of the boys at Yack went to school at Beechworth as well," he said.
"Playing against Beechworth this year, a lot of my mates had moved on, but next year might be a bit different.
"It's not something you look forward to playing against your good mates that you've grown up with."
After finishing the season as the minor premiers, he admits he's excited to see what 2022 has in store for the Roos.
"We have some really talented footballers at the club and hopefully we will go all the way with any luck," he said.
Josh Bankes took out the club's reserves best and fairest award from teammate Jimmy Davies.
In the netball, Belle Morrow won the B-grade award from runner-up Alyce Pritchard, while Kate Grunow and Kristen Witherow tied for the C-grade best and fairest to edge out Bec Manzie.
