Just add it to the wildlife sanctuary, the Uiver entrance, the iconic steam pump, probably the Cumberoona, and who knows how many other missed opportunities and tourist attractions.
This means Albury Council is raking in an unprecedented amount of increased money from their double edged rates, business licenses and building licenses.
Makes you wonder why they have to raise our rates every year and miss opportunities due to their penny pinching and short sightedness.

Federation sub-division a 'fiasco'
This huge and unsuitable development was buried in a weekly council newsletter late last year.
Yet not a word was heard from elected councillors, not least our mayor, while submissions were open.
Many, like me, learnt of the plans well after the opportunity to object had closed.
Thankfully, a community campaign caught fire and the window for a second round of objections opened.
But when the initial proposal to tack a concrete monstrosity onto the side of Corowa was tabled, this council was silent.

Pollies, media doing COVID harm
When will all this alarmism stop from the press and pollies?
I think they have done more damage to the mental health of the majority of Australians from school age children, to people who have had to juggle home schooling with work, to older people particularly those living on their own.
Yes, this disease is serious but so is influenza which does not get the same coverage by the press and pollies.
COVID will mutate and we cannot stop it spreading around the world unless we live in a cocoon.
Some of the comments by the so-called Health officials and pollies have been anything but alarmism, stupid and have not helped.
Some of the pollies' comments have been based around hiding the poor state of their health facilities.
At the next election we need a referendum to take away the powers of the states when we have a pandemic and hand it to the federal government and fight this pandemic nationally.
The federal government have had to cop a lot of the blame as the state's governments have been good at deflecting their incompetence.
