Six leading Australian comedians are bound for the North East on Saturday as the popular Grapes of Mirth event returns to Brown Brothers at Milawa.
Grapes of Mirth will bring some of the very best in Australian comedy to the King Valley, with Judith Lucy, regular co-host of The Project Claire Hooper, Tom Ballard, Have You Been Paying Attention? regular Alex Ward, and Wagga's Dane Simpson.
Founder Merrick Watts has passed on the MC duties for the first time to Dave Thornton, but will still make an appearance.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Festival director Rowan Smith said the comedians couldn't wait to get back to Milawa.
"We did a show (at Griffith) the weekend just gone and you could see it was just a release of joy from the audience and the comedians," he said.
"We came up to Milawa in January this year because it's usually the first place we get to when we're out of lockdown."
A limited number of tickets are still available at grapesofmirth.com.au.
