A woman remains in a serious condition with a broken pelvis and internal bleeding after a two-vehicle crash in the Riverina and police are looking for witnesses.

About 10.40am on December 7, emergency services were called to Tocumwal Road, Mulwala - about 10 kilometres north of Yarrawonga, Victoria - after a Nissan Patrol and a Mazda CX-3 crashed.
The driver of the Mazda, a 24-year-old woman, was airlifted to Royal Melbourne Hospital where she remains in a serious condition with a broken pelvis, femur, clavicle, fractured ribs, and internal bleeding.

The driver of the Nissan, a 43-year-old man, was taken to Albury Hospital for treatment to minor injuries and mandatory testing.
Officers attached to the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command and the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit attended and established a crime scene and have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
