Wodonga detectives have caught up with young people who were allegedly lighting fires in Wodonga.

Wodonga Criminal Investigation Unit Acting Detective Sergeant Sarah Kendall said a 14-year-old and an 18-year-old were arrested on Thursday.
"We've had a series of bin fires and sparkler (bomb) fires in Willow Park," she said.
"A search warrant was conducted at an address in Wodonga.
"Two males were arrested and interviewed at the Wodonga police station.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Both have been charged with those offences and bailed on strict conditions to appear at court at a later date."
Detective Sergeant Kendall said it was more important than ever such activity was prevented, given the increasing fire danger.
"We want it to stop going forward," she said.
