Two years after stepping away from the NPL club, Jones has returned to Albury United as an assistant coach.
A league championship-winning captain during his playing days with the Greens, he'll work alongside head coach Matt Campbell with United expected to be among the front-runners again in 2022.

Campbell has agreed to continue in the top job after leading the Greens to first place on the ladder this season.
The vastly experienced Dave Smith will also assist Campbell, having coached at Murray and taken charge of various grades at United over the years.
Ryan Withers and Lucas Monaghan will coach the reserves and thirds respectively.
"The club is excited to have such an experienced and qualified coaching group with many years of success at junior and senior level under their belt," a statement said.
"We are confident this group is perfectly placed to develop our young players as well as help us compete for league and cup success in all three grades."
