A well-maintained red brick home in central Albury, on offer by Stean Nicholls, was passed in at auction after attracting a highest bid of $580,000.
420 Perry Street sold after auction for well over $600,000 but agent Jack Stean declined to give an exact price.
It is the first time the home at 420 Perry Street has been put on the market, having been owned by the same family for 92 years.

Mr Stean said the seller had lived in the home her entire life.
"I don't think it will ever happen again in my career that I sell a house that has never been offered on the market," Mr Stean said.
354 Stephen Street, North Albury, was passed in at auction with negotiations continuing.
The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home was offered for sale by Stean Nicholls.
As was 1/9 Peppermint Parade, Lake Hume Village, however Mr Stean said the property would likely sell over the weekend.
Over in Wodonga, 105 Mitchell Street, Wodonga, attracted a smattering of people to the auction.
But the three-bedroom home, offered by PJ Murphy, was passed in at auction on a vendor bid of $350,000.
Also in Wodonga, a centrally positioned weatherboard home at 332 Beechworth Road, Wodonga, was passed in during an auction by First National Real Estate Bonnici and Associates.
The agency also oversaw the auction of 33 Sanctuary Boulevard in Wodonga.
The red-brick five-bedroom home was passed in at a vendor bid of $750,000.
Negotiations with interested parties continue.
