The former Riverina captain spent three years at Belvoir from 2015-16, returning this season after three years back home in Barooga.
He ended the Hoppers' unbeaten run by taking 7-22 on Saturday as the visitors collapsed at Kelly Park for only 97.
"They're an unbelievable cricket side, they're the best cricket side I've seen in a long time," Jaensch offered of the premiership favourites.
"They're the best side I've seen (in CAW), because of their depth.
"When I left (after 2017-18) they were a good side, but (former ACT captain) Matty Condon coming in has them going in the right direction, obviously it was a tricky wicket for them, coming from Bunton Park and we knew that, but I think they're still certainly the team to beat."
