Emergency services responded to a call to help a 38-year-old woman in the North East earlier this week.
Victoria Police together with Ambulance Victoria and SES Victoria attended the woman on the North West Spur hiking track near Harrietville at about 4pm on Monday.
The crews hiked for approximately 1.5 kilometres to locate the woman and her companion.
The woman was assisted from the track and assessed by Ambulance Victoria, but did not require treatment or transport to hospital.
Victoria Police said it was a great joint effort between the agencies involved.
