Provincial leaders North Albury could be without the competition's top wicket-taker Callum Langlands who tested positive and is in isolation until Friday, while Bethanga is among the district clubs impacted.
CAW chairman Michael Erdeljac said the association has a COVID protocol which was put in place prior to the season whereby affected clubs forgo their lowest grade match for the round to ensure first and second grade sides are filled.
If a C grade match can't go ahead as players have been promoted to the next grade up, it will be called a draw rather than a forfeit for the affected team.
"From what I've been told and what we're working with at the moment, realistically between 10 and 15 clubs are COVID-affected at the moment," Erdeljac said.
"The average age of the person infected at the moment is 18 to 22.
"All the young ones who went out on New Year's Eve or went to cricket matches, which is bad luck.
"We know all of our players are double vaccinated and under the protocols we know it's seven days of isolation.

"Let's just say if I'm feeling crook and get tested today, the result comes back tomorrow and I'm positive, I obviously can't play cricket this weekend.
"It's common sense how it works, but the main rule is that the clubs affected will be unable to fulfill their lower grade side and those matches will be declared draws. That's the fairest way to do it.
"We won't be replaying matches or anything like that, it's just how it is."
Erdeljac confirmed the association will allow a C grade game to be played before a B grade fixture if a club has a host of junior players that it doesn't wish to move to the higher grade.
"I don't want to call all lower grade games off at the moment because some clubs might be able to field all their sides," he said.
Bethanga president Jack Robinson confirmed players at the club had contracted the virus but will have completed their isolation requirements in time to play.
"A couple of players have it but we've spoken to Albury Wodonga Health and we'll be out of isolation by Saturday," he said.
Wodonga has 107 active cases, while Albury has recorded 333 in the past four weeks.
