Renne Pinkerton was taken into custody on Monday after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road during a chase, threatening her partner with a knife, smashing a window and breaching court orders.
The magistrates court heard her alleged offending started four days before Christmas when she sped off from the Wodonga police station and hit 100km/h on Brockley Street.
She allegedly overtook a vehicle in oncoming traffic, and again sped off from police on Barton Street towards Felltimber Creek Road.
Pinkerton allegedly fled police at speed on Lawrence Street about 1.45am on New Year's Day before threatening her partner with a large kitchen knife at his home about 5.40am.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The court heard she approached the man, making a stabbing motion, and pointed the 40 centimetre long weapon at his neck before smashing a window.
The Wodonga woman was arrested on Monday without incident.
She allegedly admitted to police she had been "drinking all day" before one of the pursuits.
Prosecutor Liam Murdock opposed bail on Wednesday, noting her behaviour had escalated.
Concerns were raised about her possible ice use.
Pinkerton applied through her lawyer to be released to a home in Yackandandah and magistrate David Faram noted she needed assistance.
"This is a woman that clearly needs to engage ... with all the services that can be offered to her," he said.
He granted her release, with Pinkerton to return to Wodonga court on February 28.
