A police dog has been used to help arrest two men caught loading stolen goods onto a trailer at a rural property.

The air wing was called to Benalla on Tuesday morning after two men were seen at a Murray Road property about 7.20am.
The pair had fled when local officers arrived at the scene.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The police helicopter, including a dog and his handler, attended the area and the dog searched for the pair.
They were found hiding under hay in a hay shed.
The pair, aged 26 and 30, are assisting police.
