American import Crawford scored 32 points in the 2023/24 championship-deciding fixture as the JackJumpers claimed their maiden title.
The 33-year-old guard announced on Thursday he would play a second season at the franchise.
"I loved Tasmania. Obviously winning the championship was incredible, but the fans made it so much more enjoyable," he said.
"(After) all the hard work put in by everyone in the club, the guys, coaches, and our admin staff, it was an easy choice to want to come back."
The diminutive Crawford played all 37 fixtures last season, averaging 30 minutes on the court as well as 16 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.
Tasmania's 83-81 win in the last game of the best-of-five series against Melbourne United secured the team's first title in just their third season.
The JackJumpers have kept the majority of their squad together for 2024/25 under popular coach Scott Roth.
Big man Will Magnay, Jack McVeigh, Anthony Drmic and Majok Deng recently signed contract extensions with the franchise.
Tasmania in April signed big man Gorjok Gak as a replacement for departed import Marcus Lee.
