Leading Sen-Constable Rachael Kelly, of Wodonga police, said offenders broke in by forcing the roller door to the garage of the Falcon Circuit home between 12am and 5am yesterday morning.
She said a white Holden VP Commodore was taken from the driveway, a light blue Toyota Camry was stolen from the garage and a laptop, mobile phones and wallets were taken from inside the home.
Sen-Constable Kelly said it was a $17,500 burglary.
She said the family - a husband, wife and teenage children - were all sleeping and didn’t realise they had been broken into until the morning.
She urged anyone with information or who noticed anything unusual in the neighbourhood at the time to phone Wodonga police on (02) 6049 2600 or Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
