A 54-hectare fire burning south of Gerogery have been brought under-control, though is not yet extinguished.
While CFA have brought the spread of a fire in Bundalong south.
The previous watch and act message has been downgraded in both cases.
RFS said residents should continue to monitor conditions and take advice from firefighters in the area.
CFA warned firefighters would remain on scene for some time.
Gerogery Road remains closed in parts.

Police have warned Gerogery Road, south of Gerogery and north of Table Top has been closed due to fire and smoke.
Residents are warned to avoid the area.
It comes as parents with students in Jindera, Culcairn and Henty schools are warned bus services might not run due to the fire risk.
Parents are being asked to collect their children directly.

The Country Fire Authority have told residents near an out-of-control Bundalong South fire leaving now is the safest option.
A Victorian watch and act message was issue for resident in Brimin, Bundalong, Bundalong South, Peechelba, Peechelba East.
Don't wait, leaving now is the safest option - conditions may change and get worse very quickly. Emergency Services may not be able to help you if you decide to stay.

The grassfire is travelling in a south-easterly direction towards the Ovens River.
Residents have been warned the best protection from radiant heat is distance.
If you stay, seek shelter indoors:
- Bring your pets indoors.
- Close all exterior doors, windows and vents and turn off cooling systems.
- Shelter in a room that has a door and or a window to the outside so you can keep an eye on what is happening with the fire.

NSW Rural Fire Service have issued a watch and act warning for an out-of -control fire in Boomanoomana, six kilometres north west of Mulwala, and a blaze south of Gerogery.
A NSW watch and act warnings inform residents there was a heightened level of threat.
“Conditions are changing and you need to start taking action now to protect you and your family,” it says.
An hour ago RFS said the Yarrawonga Road fire had burnt 25 hectares, with firefighters and aircraft battling the blaze.
Smoke from a fire four kilometres south west of Gerogery might impact visibility on the Olympic and Hume highways.
The Fielder Moll Road blaze is to the west of both highways.
Isolated properties are in the area.

Firefighters across the border are battling multiple fires across the region in windy conditions.
Fire and Rescue NSW duty controller Stewart Alexander said Country Fire Authority, Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue NSW had attended large fires around Gerogery, Corowa, and west of Mulwala as well as minor blazes elsewhere.
Mr Stewart said a number of CFA resources were crossing the border to assist NSW agencies.
“There’s multiple fires throughout the district, all available resources are out combating them.
“If anyone sees any unattended fires please call triple-zero.
Mr Stewart said at this stage he was not aware of any evacuation notifications but said all necessary warnings would be issued ahead of time if needed.
RFS is the lead agency for the NSW blazes.
1.19pm: Firefighters say the fire has now been contained.
The incident is not believed to have damaged any properties.
EARLIER: An emergency warning has been issued for an out of control fire at Thoona.
Residents have been told it is too late to leave their homes.
The safest option is to take shelter indoors immediately.
People are advised not to get into their cars and drive, and instead stay where they are and close all windows, vents, and turn off cooling systems.
They are urged to shelter in a room with a door or window to the outside to see what is happening with the fire.
Watch and act warnings are in place for Wangaratta South, Winton North, Mount Bruno, Wangandary and Killawarra.
People can stay up to date with warnings through emergency.vic.gov.au or through the VicEmergency phone app.
There are also fires near Walla, Culcairn, Boomanoomana and Glenellen.
