The Albury-Wodonga Spitfires women face the great unknown this weekend.
St Patrick’s is the only side the Border outfit has yet to face in their return to Capital League this season.
Co-captain Shae Billingsley is expecting another test against the third-placed lineup in Canberra today.
“Quite a few of their girls have just been away in the under 21 national competition,” she said.
“Grace (Ronnfeldt) has been away playing with them, so we know they’re going to be a young, skillful and quick team and they’ve been playing pretty well so far.
“We’ve got them this week and we’ve actually got them in a double-header in a few weeks time at home, so we’re going to get to know them quite well.”
Ange McDonald, Caitlin Baine and Tess Palubiski are all unavailable, leaving the Spitfires with only 12 players for the trip.
The Spitfires men will look to continue their run of three straight wins as they travel to take on Old Canberrans.
