ANOTHER vehicle has been torched at Springdale Heights, only a few hundred metres away from a similar arson attack about a fortnight earlier.
Firefighters were called to Strauss Street about 4am on Friday.
The Lexus sedan had been dumped at parkland near a retirement home before being torched.
A Holden Commodore was dumped on the side of the road and was set alight in the early morning arson incident.
The burnt out Holden is still on the side of the road.
Pictures from the latest car fire show flames leaping high above the sedan.
A small amount of grass near the Lexus was singed, but the fire did not spread.
The vehicle was gutted by the flames.
The area has been a popular site for criminals to dump cars and set them alight, with at least four such incidents in recent times.
