With temperatures set to hit 40 degrees, under-12s, 13s, 14s, 15s and 16s matches have been called off.
Fixtures for the under-14s, 15s and 16s will be deemed draws, while the 12s and 13s Friday games have been moved to Saturday.
The under-17s match between Wangaratta and CAW at Norm Minns Oval on Friday has become a T20 clash.
On Saturday, all under-14, 15 and 16 games will go ahead as per the draw.
Thursday saw a tie in the under-12s between Wangaratta Gold and CAW Thunder at Wangaratta.
The hosts posted 6-95 with Jesse Parker compiling 21, while Thunder’s Chad Brookes grabbed 1-0.
Mitchell Borrell was run out for 11 in the final over for the visitors, who had to settle for a share of the points.
CAW Stars took on Wangaratta Blue and reached 7-177 from 40 overs thanks to 30 not out for Taj White and 23 from Baxter Wilson.
But Wangaratta Blue had all the answers, reaching 6-178 in 35 overs, led by 30 not out from Drew Winter.
Nash Macauley (2-15) and Blake Capper (1-13) were the pick of the Stars bowlers.

CAW (7-143) held their nerve against CAW Country (141) in the under-13s.
Wangaratta Gold defeated Wangaratta Blue.
CAW Country (5-77) prevailed in the under-14s, making light work of Wangaratta Gold’s 9-75, which they passed in the 29th over.
The under-15s matchup between CAW and Wangaratta Blue at Baranduda was a tight tussle.
CAW reached 8-144 from their 40 overs, led by 39 at the top from Kaiden Withers.
He and Lachlan Mackley (28) combined for a 58-run opening stand, while Noah Smith’s 33 in the middle order ensured they finished with a strong total.
However, Wangaratta Blue had other ideas, bringing up the winning runs inside the final four overs.
The remaining under 15s clash was another entertaining encounter, with CAW Country grabbing a 22-run victory against CAW Hume at Bethanga.
Country posted a competitive 8-145 from its 40 overs, led by 42 at the top of the order from Max Diffey.
Jesse Moloney (26), Nicholas Newton (23) and Zach Wilson (20) batted well in the chase for Hume, but they fell short at 8-123.
In the under-16s, Wangaratta Gold (4-81) easily chased down CAW Country’s 79, while Wangaratta Blue (9-124) defeated Wagga (95).
CAW’s under-17s were bowled out for 105, with Wangaratta reaching the target five wickets down after just 20 overs.
The two sides will meet again in Wangaratta at 9am on Friday, with CAW looking for a win after dropping the first two games.
