Enjoy a summer evening by the banks of the Murray River making your own pizza or firing up dough at Albury’s wood fire oven. People can use the oven for free, under the guidance of the oven coordinator and enjoy cooling off by the river. The fire firing of 2019 will run this Sunday.

Based on an international trend, The Suitcase Market is a pop up marketplace filled with vintage clothes, vinyl, old clothes – all fitted into suitcase sized stalls. Sellers must fit all their wears into suitcases, which they sell out of. The market is your go to destination for vintage frocks, retro readings and anything artisan. Maximum of three suitcases per vendor.

Psychedelic folk rocker Tennyson King will be bringing his unique sound to the Albion Hotel on Saturday. The Canadian singer is in Australia for his Coast tour, having finished up in Canada, Brasil and China. He’s previously delighted audiences internationally and at the Yackandandah Folk Festival with his self described raw, gritty and organic sound designed to make the soul feel wild.

After a brief Christmas hiatus, the Rotary Kiewa Street Community Market is returning this Sunday, just in time for residents to restock their cupboards with fresh produce and crafty goods.

Dreaming of eating and drinking on a bridge over running water? Well, you’ll have to get in fast with this week being the last in Pfeiffer Wines’ Bridge Bar run this season. The very popular bar will operate each afternoon this weekend from 4pm and 8pm, serving a selection of award winning Pfeiffer wines, wine cocktails and nibbles for your enjoyment. Pfeiffer’s art show runs daily until January 26.

Conversations with Nick Cave, An Evening of Talk & Music – Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre
Former Wangaratta boy Nick Cave will return to well trodden streets this Saturday for the only regional stop on his tour. The intimate show features Cave’s music, as well as welcoming audiences into his life and inviting them to ask questions of the artist. The unconventional, unscripted and unmoderated format allows Cave and the audience to form an intense bond.
