Alongside Logan River, stablemates A Thousand Degrees and River Of Gold will race on Saturday.
While So Magnifique, Westmoreland and What A Hoot will contest races on Sunday with Logan River a strong possibility of racing on consecutive days.
“Logan River will definitely race on Saturday and if he pulls up fine, I can’t see any reason why he won’t race again on Sunday,” Beer said.
“I can possibly see two of the horses getting scratched so he will go around in a four horse race.
“If he goes around in a four horse race over 900-metres and has a soft run and pulls up well, I will have no hesitation racing him again Sunday.
“Another plus is he is being stabled on the Sapphire Coast course over the weekend and doesn’t have to go on the truck home and come back again.”
Logan River will be ridden by Simon Miller who scored on the gelding on debut for Beer at Queanbeyan after previously being trained by Tony McEvoy.
“It was a nice debut win and I don’t think it is much of a step-up in grade on Saturday,” he said.
“I think Sunday is a step-up in grade but if he performs similar to what he did at Queanbeyan I don’t think he needs to improve to win on Saturday.”
Beer was also upbeat about the chances of What A Hoot who will contest the $40,000 Bega Sprint, (1200m) tomorrow with Nikita Berriman booked to ride.
The giant grey sprinter has been racing in terrific fashion finishing runner-up at Wagga, Seymour and Wodonga at his past three starts.
What A Hoot likes to race on the pace and has drawn barrier nine in the 10-horse field.
“The wide barrier is not a concern and he is a big horse who appreciates plenty of galloping room,” Beer said.
“He has got plenty of early speed and I expect him to just jump and settle in the first few.
“I much prefer him to race outside horses compared to inside horses.
“He is a free-rolling galloper who just needs clean air at the right time.
“If he can get that, he is going as good as he has ever gone but he is racing in open company which are hard races to win but he is really knocking on the door.”
Berriman has a good affinity with What A Hoot, having 10 rides on the gelding for three wins and five minor placings.
“Nikita knows the horse so well and is the only jockey to have won on him since I got the horse,” he said.
“He seems to really run for her and is rarely out of the money.”
Beer pinpointed A Thousand Degrees as his best chance of landing a winner over the two-day carnival.
A Thousand Degrees is another galloper formerly trained by McEvoy and will be making his debut for the Beer stable.
