Little children searched high and low for colourful Easter eggs hidden throughout the Albury Botanical Gardens on Sunday.

Organiser Vince Glenane said the event had avoided the teething problems of last year with 1200 of the 1800 tickets selling and plenty of eggs and $5000 of prizes for the excited children.
"It was tremendous," he said.
"We're very happy and no doubt will rebook the grounds as soon as possible."

Mr Glenane said the community and sponsors were incredibly supportive of the event, which raised money for charity.
He said children enjoyed egg and spoon races, throwing the egg competitions and hit the rabbit games.
