Boomers could be without six of its starting 11 for Sunday's clash against a high-flying Albury United at Jelbart Park.
Dustin Patten (concussion), Matt Mildren (knee), Sam Graetz (ankle), Jordan Crawford (ankle) and Kye Halloway (unavailable) will all miss the clash, while coach Andrew Grove has an ongoing back issue.
Boomers have dropped points at home to Albury City (3-1) and Twin City (1-0) in the past fortnight and find themselves in unfamiliar territory in seventh spot after the first month.
Assistant coach Wayne Fraser expects it to be a difficult week, with Patten an irreplaceable part of the side.
"We're expecting Dustin (Patten) won't play again," Fraser said.
"Dustin has got some issues with multiple concussions, the advice is that he certainly shouldn't play this season and whether or not he plays again will be something his medical team will ascertain."
Mildren will miss at least a month with a knee complaint, which gives 16-year-old replacement Tal Wilson a good taste of the senior competition, while 17-year-olds Jack Drummond and Kye McMillan also come into the side.
More sports news:
"The issues we've had over the last two weeks is we've held a lot of possession and haven't been able to score," Fraser said.
"That's an issue for us because we know how tight United are and we also know if they get an opportunity, they'll score."
Greens' defender Sam Mason isn't getting complacent despite the host of quality names missing for Boomers.
"It's always an arm wrestle with them," Mason said.
"They've always got depth, they've still got Noah Spiteri who always finds the back of the net.
"It's just about locking down those roles and really making sure we spread them we can and close them in when we can as well."
