Albury's Trevor and Zac Aldred travelled to New Zealand to compete in the World Indoor Archery Championship in Wellington.
Zac, 15, represented Australia in the junior division and took home gold in the barebow compound category, finishing the event with a score of 534.
Trevor, a national record holder and winner of numerous titles, capped off a superb meet for the family with gold in the senior freestyle limited compound.
It was the first time he and his son had both claimed gold at the same time on the world stage.
The competition ran for three days with competitors shooting for three hours each day.
Targets were set at 20 metres with 75 to 80 shooters at the line at once across multiple events.
"It was a very high pressure situation with other shooters a couple of feet in front and behind you all the time," Trevor admitted.
This is not the first time Zac has represented Australia on the world stage.

He first shot for Australia as a cub in Argentina at the World Field Archery Championship, where he claimed his first world title at just eight years of age.
"Zac could not have achieved what he has without the help of the local archery club Twin City Bowmen and his school Trinity Anglican College, Thurgoona," Trevor added.
The ultimate goal for the rising star is to represent Australia in archery at an Olympic Games.
