Member for Northern Victoria Tania Maxwell raised the issue in Parliament with the Minister for Ambulance Services, Jenny Mikakos.
Indigo mayor Bernard Gaffney has met with Ambulance Victoria and also written to the minister.

Cr Gaffney said while paramedics did a fantastic job, "the fact remains that Indigo Shire is under-resourced with only one ambulance station".
"We are calling on the state government to put in more resources - whether in the form of a new station or more paramedics," he said.
Ms Maxwell said improving the ambulance statistics in Indigo was imperative as "quick response times have a direct effect on patient outcomes".
