No team can be taken lightly from this point on with the league's top-three sides heading into the weekend all dropping points.
For the second week running, leaders Albury United slipped up to a bottom-two side - drawing 1-1 with Melrose at Jelbart Park on Sunday - who continue to improve every week.
However, second-placed Wangaratta were upset 2-0 by Boomers at Glen Park - giving the Greens a seven-point buffer on top.
Lauren Antonello opened the scoring for Boomers in the first half, while Sanna Mila doubled the advantage after the break to hand the home side an impressive victory and cap off a superb fortnight.
Also in sport:
Iannotta Cup champions St Pats have also been beneficiaries of recent results, moving to third and sitting within 10 points of top spot and just three off second after taking down Albury City 4-1 at Jelbart Park.
Raq Vogel, Tess Spry, Claire Mahoney and Katie Fruend all found the back of the net for Patties.
After drawing with Wangaratta in round eight, St Pats have strung together three straight wins to become the form team of the competition.
The senior women's ladder after round 11 is: Albury United 29, Wangaratta 22, St Pats 19, Albury City 18, Boomers 10, Melrose 7.
