The Olympic Highway drinking hole offers a Double Stacker parmigiana, just in case one is not sufficiently large enough.
Rest assured, one is generous.
Gerogery Hotel chef Daniel Bell said it was only the brave who had ordered the parmigiana by two on his shift.
"In five months I've only cooked four and only one person polished it off!" he said.
Wednesday night is Pot and Parmi Night at the hotel, with 10 variations from which to choose.
Having trained at Cafe Victor in Albury, Bell said he came to commercial cookery by accident.
"I'd left school in Wodonga and my mate was doing a hospitality course," Bell said.
"I guess I sort of fell into it; I did the hospitality course at 17 and I've been cooking ever since."
Based at Holbrook with his partner and their four children, Bell started cooking for the Gerogery Hotel five months ago.
He said they launched their new winter menu last week.
"It's home-cooked, Mediterranean-style pub meals," he said.
"Most places I've worked at have served Mediterranean-style food.
"I've incorporated that into the way I cook and dishes I like."
Gerogery Hotel publican Jimmy O'Neill said he took over running the hotel in spring 2017.
"We do 300 to 400 meals a week," he said.
