Wodonga Federation of Government Schools held its third annual conference at Wodonga Senior Secondary College, offering a range of professional development workshops.
Representatives from Wodonga Senior Secondary College, Wodonga Middle Years College, Belvoir Special School, Wodonga West Children's Centre and Baranduda, Wodonga South, Wodonga and Melrose primary schools took part in the day.
Keynote speaker Adam Voigt, of Real Schools, focused on school culture and the benefits of developing a safe and strong ethos.

Wodonga South Primary School principal Clint Eckhardt said the federation, which formed in 2016, provided greater opportunities for mutual support.
"All the schools are close geographically but we don't get a chance always to come together," he said.
"Now we have a collegiate approach to it and all the different schools have an equal voice to make sure that we target what we need to move all our schools forward."
Workshop topics included engaging students, building relationships with parents and encouraging self-care.
