In an error-riddled match, the Spitfires dictated play from the outset but were unable to convert their chances.
Dom Wild opened the scoring from a penalty stroke before Zach White followed up with a double to seal victory.
Andrew Monte, Joe Forster and Noah Erdeljac turned in strong performances.
"Any good is a good win," coach Tony Donnolley said.
"It was a bit scrappy and we missed chances but it was good to get the points."
The Spitfires meet Old Canberrans at Canberra on Saturday.
"This is the team we have to roll," he said.
