Another of Wangaratta Rovers' under 18 premiership players announced his arrival at senior level in Saturday's hard-fought win over Wodonga.
Pat Hourigan, who's still eligible for the thirds, kicked two goals in the 11.15 (81) to 10.4 (64) win.
"Patty Hourigan was outstanding in the front half, he's a 17-year-old kid, and he was magnificent," proud coach Daryn Cresswell said.
"He wrapped up that loose ball in our 50 and tackled hard."
