Barring a complete disaster, Patties are destined to collect their first piece of silverware since the 2006 cup final.
Three points and a 10-goal buffer from nearest rival Albury United gives them some extra breathing room.
St Pats host third-placed Wangaratta on Sunday, while United meets Melrose at Melrose Park.
Therefore, the Greens would require a massive win against the ladies in purple and need Wangaratta to dismantle St Pats to be any chance of stealing it.
Patties' co-coach Josh O'Farrell knows his side has put itself in a great position for the league.
"It's very well set up for us. Mathematically it's not done, but we would like to think short of something catastrophic going wrong, we're in a really good position to claim the title," he said.
"We want to win it outright, so we want to win to finish the season on a high.
"We know the situation for this weekend and the girls are aware of what has got to happen."
ALSO IN SPORT:
St Pats lost four of its opening five games, but have picked up points from every fixture since to become the team to beat.
"We want to carry it through and at very minimum make the grand final," O'Farrell said.
"I'd hope if we win the league, we can go on and win the whole lot."
The competition favourites had one minor stumble on the run home, but escaped from Melrose Park with a 3-3 draw with the last kick of the game three weeks ago.
"I think the Melrose one was a bit of a wake up call for the girls and they're one of the form teams, they've really come a long way," O'Farrell added.
"The first five weeks for us we got a bit of a shock and we probably weren't quite fit enough.
"I think we showed in the Iannotta Cup (in pre-season), we were good for half an hour and we showed that in the first five games, but we weren't running them out.
"We got Issy Barbaro back from suspension and we've been able to kick on.
"I tried to make sure the girls understood it was a marathon, not a sprint and if we could come into some good form by the halfway point we would be a good chance of top-two."
The weekend's remaining game sees Boomers take on Albury City at Glen Park.
