Albury Evening branch recently presented donations to Betty's Place, Women's Centre of Health and Wellbeing Albury-Wodonga, Murray Valley Sanctuary Refugee Group and the Grow Free Kitchen Garden Project.
Branch secretary Bunty Driver said this represented half the money raised by the branch through catering activities, with the rest sent to head office for state health and assistance projects.
The branch will host a film night at Regent Cinemas on September 13 featuring Downton Abbey, tickets through trybooking.com, to raise money for Border mental health services.
"It's more than tea and scones, it's also about making connections with people, making sure people are OK, especially with the drought continuing," Ms Driver said.
