New company Revolution Theatre Productions will put on its first show at Albury Entertainment Centre while Jesus Christ Superstar will return to the stage for the first time in a decade.
Director Christine A Duff, musical director Paul Brosche and choreographer Cazz Kardol have put together an inspiring new take on the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice classic.
Duff said the rock opera told the story through Judas' eyes.
"Most people know the story, but this time it comes from Judas' perspective, and this time we have taken a modern, metaphorical approach, set it to a really rocking score for a totally different take on this Christian classic," Duff said.

The show features 50 in the cast, aged from six to 60-plus, with 20 working backstage and in the wings.
It is set to music ranging from metal mash-up to folk, ballad to rap; there will be a live orchestra.
Revolution Theatre Productions is the fundraising arm of Albury Wodonga Community Chest Incorporated.
Fifty per cent of the profits from shows (Avenue Q was its first production) go to Border charities. Recipients have included Belvoir Special School, Wewak Street School, Mercy Health, Betty's Place and Albury Wodonga Cancer Foundation.
