The Tigers face Myrtleford in Sunday's sudden death semi-final at Bunton Park and Daly is confident they can respond to prevent a straight-sets September exit.
Wangaratta stretched the reigning premiers thanks to their extra height, with the 34-point margin flattering Albury.
"We're not going to look to make a heap of changes, we still think we've got a team that's good enough if we play our best footy," Daly said.
"There will be nothing like that. When we played on the weekend, there were no excuses.
"We didn't bring the performance we needed to for a final and they did."
Albury has played in the last 10 grand finals and won seven of them, but all of them came from occupying top spot at the home and away season.

While they're in somewhat unfamiliar territory, Daly isn't buying into the conversation that it's the end of an era at Tigerland.
"After the game on Saturday, everyone has got something to say to you and everyone has got to tell you what you're doing wrong, but everyone can have their own opinion and we'll see what happens," he added.
"Hopefully we can prove everyone wrong."
Myrtleford coach Jake Sharp said he'll take more from the fact they played Albury a fortnight ago, rather than implementing plans on the back of how the Tigers played against Wangaratta.
Sharp denied it's a bad time to come up against Albury after its biggest defeat in a final since the 2013 second semi against Yarrawonga (32 points).
"We haven't played finals in however long and we'll be up for the challenge," he said.
"They'll come out roaring, they're a proud club, but if we want to mix it with the best, we've got to be able to stand up in scenarios like this."
Brad Murray should slot back in after serving a one-match suspension, while ruckman Tom McDonagh must train well tonight after missing two weeks with an ankle complaint.
However, tagger Blake Parker "pulled up really sore" with an ankle issue and is no certainty to feature.
