The Mount Mittamatite Regional Park will be closed for one day as aerial marksmen target the animals.

Parks Victoria spokesman Chris Derrick said professionals would be used in the operation.
"Reducing the goat population will improve the visitor experience on walking tracks at Mount Mittamatite Regional Park and flora reserve," he said.
