Temperance and General opened in Amp Lane during winter.
Albury born-and-raised co-owners Brooke Bosse (Springdale Heights Tavern) and Gemma Makeham had been on the lookout for their first joint hospitality venture when the site came up.
"We liked the location and saw heaps of potential here," Bosse said.
Temperance and General referred to the T and G Building, which was built by the Temperance & General Life Assurance Society in 1933, and the temperance movement.
Bar menu highlights include a charcuterie board; vegetable spring rolls with Nam Jim dressing; and salt and pepper chicken ribs with chilli maple sauce.
Temperance and General will host a North East regional wine and gin tasting event on Thursday, October 24.
It will feature Valhalla wines, Death Gin, Hurdle Creek Still Gin and Remedy Gin.
