North Albury Football Netball Club hosts Grand Final Family Day, Bunton Park, North Albury Saturday, September 28
Get your gang together and watch the AFL Grand Final on the big screen. North Albury Football Netball Club will host a Grand Final Family Day at Bunton Park. Watch the match on the big Optus screen. Bring you own chair, rug, sunscreen and best barracking voice. Barbecue lunch, alcohol, soft drinks and water will be available. Strictly no BYO drinks. Go Tigers!

Don't be late! Don't be late for a very important date! Doing It For The Kids Music Fundraiser will run a silent auction and raffle. Kid-friendly activities include a jumping castle, face-painting and balloon art. The live music line-up boasts Intensity, Delicate Rage, Wovern Hearts, The Evertones, Tailor Made and Emerson Lavis. There will be prizes for the best dressed in line with a Mad Hatter Tea Party theme. Sausage sizzle and drinks available. Proceeds go to Tots2teens for care packs in the community.

Dr Seuss' The Cat in the Hat - Live on Stage, Albury Entertainment Centre, Saturday, September 28, 10.30am and 1pm
Few children's books have stood the test of time like Dr Seuss' 200-word masterpiece The Cat in the Hat. As the top-selling children's author of all time, the story is as popular now as it was in the 1950s when Oxford University educated Theodor "Seuss" Geissel wrote it. Now children and adults alike will be left in raptures by this zany and imaginative stage show.
TREE TALK
Whispering Woods by Natalie Malseed opening and artist talk, Wrenwood Gallery, Bungowannah, Saturday, September 28, 11am
This exhibition has been inspired by ecologist Susanne Simard, whose 30 years of research led to her discovery that trees talk. It features encaustic paintings, textile sculpture and waxed forms. Runs until late October.
