The Bendigo and Shepparton-centred zone won four of the six home matches against North East Knights.
The Border and North East visitors won the under 17 female and an under 18 male T20 match, while Northern claimed the under 14 male and female, under 16 male, along with the other under 18 game.
In the under 17s, Henty's Erin Hogan (50 not out) and Howlong's Ebony Hoskin (41) helped the Knights to 6-181.
Northern replied with 167.
In the under 18s, captain Michael Grohmann (Wodonga) struck 38 and St Patrick's Liam Parkinson (28) in the total of 4-104.
The Shield honours long-serving administrators Bert Lightfoot (Shepparton) and Keith Sherwill (Benalla).
The Knights have a busy summer with the four junior grades playing Outer East Eagles in Benalla, followed by carnivals in Melbourne during December-January.
