Burns holed an eight-iron from 140m on the par four, 409m, 15th for eagle and posted five birdies as well, with just the one bogey on his last hole, the 9th,
"You always try to do it, but you rarely do it, yeah it was a good shot and went in on the bounce," he said of the eagle shot.

"I probably left three (birdies) out on the course, which is in great nick and the greens are superb, so the ball's rolling well."
Players sometimes travel together to tournaments and that's where the 53-year-old picked up the lurgy.
"My travelling mate has given all three the flu."
Burns has claimed successive Order of Merit titles on the Legends Tour, which won him a spot on the Champions Tour, where he partnered John Daly, who walked off after four holes.
