Pantling won the Zone 8 Rookie Singles title at Wagga RSL, after only taking up the sport in 2017.
He started with a 17-8 win against stepson Joshua Tootell, before edging out Cootamundra's Jason Jones 17-16.

Pantling then managed to get over the top of Junee's Neil Sansbury, 17-12, before wrapping up the title with a 17-13 triumph against Ethan Sainsbury, also of Junee.
He finished as the only player with four wins.
"Jason (Jones) was about eight shots up on me at one stage, but I got it back," Pantling said.
"I got a phone call last year from the blokes at the Commercial Club to play in and my stepson has started playing now, so I took him up there this year.
"I played most of them last year, but you're never too confident in bowls."
Pantling and Tootell then teamed up last weekend in the Rookie Pairs and missed out on shots difference.
A 15-14 win against Jones and Kye Fisher from Cootamundra put them in the lead, but a 14-10 loss to the Sainsbury duo from Junee saw all three sides finish on a win apiece, with the Junee side progressing.
Pantling will turn his attention to the State Rookie Singles finals at Raymond Terrace Bowling Club on November 23 and 24.
