Retro Lane Cafe is bringing Melbourne-based band, Bakers Eddy, to Albury for its Retro Laneway Party on Friday night.
The four-piece outfit, Bakers Eddy, which hails from Wellington, New Zealand, went over well in Albury last year.
Retro Youth Management Committee member Libbity Alexander said they would take the gig out of the cafe and into the nearby laneway this year.
"Everyone loved them last year," she said.
"It will be a great gig; it just brings out a lot of good people."
The Triple J favourites, Bakers Eddy, create a brand of solid, diverse rock for all ears.
Their sound has evolved into thick, driving rock, with sweet, tasty melodies, but bearing the backbone of their punk rock roots.
Having formed in 2009 as an escape from adolescent pressures and career expectations, Bakers Eddy found their sound listening to two and three-chorded punk songs.
In late 2016, Bakers Eddy moved to Melbourne, where they created a slew of surefire punk rock bangers in the form of their sophomore EP I'm Not Making Good Decisions.
Retro Laneway Party artist lineup includes Bryce Tinley; Jed, Gabriel, Shelby and Jason; Jaide Brussen; Tahli Gibson; Sweet Innocence; and Elk.
There will be face-painting, wire jewellery making, a circus workshop, Storm Glow live action role play and a free barbecue.
