Dan, Nat and their kids Audrey, Hugh, Will and Hattie play in the Albury-Wodonga Steamers' touch sevens rugby competition at Alexander Park North.
The Hoggs are just one of many Border families taking to the field for the social all ages competition, with the six week event seeing 250 registered players this season.
"It's perfect for families," Dan said.
"My wife's on my team, but I've got a couple of kids who want to play against me.

"That's fine too, they just want to have plenty of banter with us."
The Steamers' stalwart and touch sevens rugby coordinator said the competition's six week time frame was perfect for families on the go, with teams playing three games each week.
"I think that's half the appeal," Dan said.
"We're always running kids to sport and they never get the chance to play in a non-competitive environment for fun.
"It's a nice vibe."
This is the fourth year the touch sevens competition has been run, skyrocketing in entrants from 80 in its inaugural season.
As the event heads into it's last weeks, Hogg said the feedback from teams made up of families, friends and work colleagues has been positive.
"It's there to get people active and it's not always about the win," he said.
