Thousands filled the lawns at the annual Carols by Candlelight to hear a varied collection of seasonal songs.
Dancers added colour and movement to much of the program, which began with All I Want For Christmas sung by Grace Draper in her third carols appearance but first time opening the show.
"It was a bit intimidating in some ways, but it was really good, the atmosphere here is really lovely tonight," she said afterwards.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Creative team member Lizzie Pogson said carols preparations started months out, with auditions held in September.
"We have an amazing pool of entertainers in Albury, we used to ship people in and we don't need to do that and every year something new comes out of the woodwork which always astounds us," she said.
Mrs Pogson says organisers aimed "to mix it up a little each year", without losing the carols people love to sing together.
"Getting a lot more variety from rock and roll to the traditional," she said.
"New cast members bring in new, fresh ideas, which is our mandate every year."
Some groups sang unaccompanied to great acclaim but, as always, the most anticipated performer was the special guest, Santa Claus.
