Albury is hosting a five-day jam session as hundreds of musicians converge on the Border. The 74th Australian Jazz Convention will run across eight venues plus outdoor functions between Boxing Day and New Year's Eve. Described as the world's longest-running annual jazz event, the convention began in 1946 and continues to put participants first and foremost. Convention venues are Commercial Club, Albury Brewhouse, The Albury Club, Atura Albury, The Bended Elbow, Beer DeLuxe and the Circuit Sports Cafe. RACE DAY
Corowa Race Club Holiday Celebrations Race Meeting, Sunday, December 29, gates open 11.30am
Celebrate the holiday season with a day out at the Corowa Races. Corowa Race Club will host a seven-race meeting this weekend. There will be TAB facilities and undercover bookmaker's ring. Children's activities include a free giant waterslide and face-painting.

Albury-based blues rock band Sons of Motherless Goats will have you up on the dance floor. They play myriad genres but lean towards rock blues covers from acts like Johnny Diesel and the Injectors, George Thorogood, Cold Chisel, Creedence Clearwater Revival and John Butler Trio.
