St Patrick's Angus Kilby, Wodonga's Mitch Dinneen and Yarrawonga's Matt Casey (captain) and Will Sharp have been named for the clash in Ballarat on Sunday.
Coach Andrew Squires said having four North East players out of the 12 picked is huge for the region.
"I was very impressed with Mitch's temperament with the bat," Squires said.
"He knows his game, he's very level-headed and he's a great team man.
"Angus is beautiful with the gloves.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"I would have liked a little bit more from him with the bat because he's a quality bat, but he makes up for it with his leadership around the boys."
"Matt is a young guy that gets what batting is all about.
"He has beautiful temperament, knows his game really well and sticks to his game plan. He takes his time to get in, but once he's in he's like a brick wall and you can't get anything past him.
"Will is bottom-age, he's only 17-years-old and every game he was asked to bowl into the wind.
"He's our workhorse and every game he had perfect line and length."
It is the second time Squires has coached Victoria Country, having won the annual challenge at Bendigo in 2018, with Kilby and Casey both in that side.
"It's always good to get bragging rights on the metro boys and it's also good to get bragging rights on the other regions to say we've got four boys in there," he added.
