Police are investigating a suspicious fire at a house on Kestrel Street in North Albury.

About 10.30am yesterday, emergency services attended the house and upon arrival, the grass in the backyard - as well as a vehicle and assorted items - were well alight.
The blaze was extinguished by NSW Fire and Rescue.
Police say no people were injured as a result of the fire but Murray River Police officers established a crime and are investigating the circumstances.
As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the vicinity of Kestrel Street, Albury to come forward.
