Sedgwick has rejoined Lavington after six seasons with Brock-Burrum where he was regarded as one of the premier players in the Hume league.
The speedster joined Brock-Burrum in 2014 and has starred in three flags.

He also won the Azzi medal in his first season with the merged identity.
Sedgwick played three matches for Wanderers in the Northern Territory football league before Christmas.
The classy midfielder enjoyed the experience and featured in the best on two occasions.
"It was one of the best things I've done in regards to my footy career and I loved it up north," Sedgwick said.
"It was a high standard of football and really quick.
"Some of my teammates couldn't believe how I go about it and love getting in there and getting the footy and not worry about the body contact.
"I was rapt with my form.
"There was some good players in the competition including Joel Jeffrey who a stack of AFL clubs are interested in Austin Wonaeamirri is a freak."
Sedgwick said he been training flat out since Christmas.
"I'm the fittest I've ever been by a mile," he said.
"I've even been going to the gym which I have never done previously.
"I'm loving the higher standard of training at Lavington, especially the competitive drills.
"I'm keen as to have a big season and really motivated to have an impact."
