The talented stayer will be aiming to become the first galloper in modern history to capture back-to-back Albury features - albeit two years apart.
Willi Willi won the $200,000 feature in 2018 and was set to defend his crown last year before cup day was abandoned due to a freak storm.
The six-year-old won the Wodonga Cup in November and finished fourth in the Wangaratta Cup at his most recent start.
The Wodonga trainer will have a two-pronged attack on the listed feature with Ruby Skye also engaged.

Widdison said the Albury feature once again looked a competitive race on paper.
"As usual, its got a fair bit of depth in the race with some talented stayers engaged," Widdison said.
"The Canberra Cup form looks the strongest from a form point of view and Fun Fact and Maid Of Ore deserve to be favourites.
"Bjorn Baker's is the horse we have to beat.
"The top-weight (Morton's Fork) has proven to be classy on his day.
"In saying that I couldn't be happier with my two horses and both have drawn well."
Widdison said Willi Willi had derived plenty of benefit fitness-wise from his Wangarratta run after having a five week let-up leading in.
"I think Willi Willi is just about ready to peak and being a previous winner he is a proven performer in this sort of company," he said.
"I don't think I've had Ruby Skye going any better either and she can definitely run a cheeky race as well.
"I think this year's cup is similar quality wise compared to when Willi Willi won.
"I haven't lost any faith in the horse and if he can recapture his best form they will know he is in the race - that's for sure."
Willi Willi is set to be partnered by in-form hoop Blaike McDougall who is in career best form.
McDougall has already rode 107 winners this season to surpass his previous best of 102 achieved last racing season.
He won the City Handicap on Mount Horeb yesterday to hand the George Osborne-trained galloper back-to-back victories in the feature sprint.
