The club posted creative mock match reviews against the CSU Reddies to their Facebook page with what they hoped would have been the result for the encounters.
The Steamers also announced their team line-up for the first game in an effort to lift the spirits of players, who are currently unable to take to the field due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Steamers president Mick Raynes said the club is sitting tight as they wait to hear the fate of the SIRU season.

At this stage the competition has been put on hold until at least June 1, with Rugby Australia to dictate the decision.
"We're all sitting tight," Raynes said.
"Majority want to try and get some rugby in this season."
Players have adopted fitness challenges in the absence of training.
