A Victorian man has been charged with numerous offences after he allegedly stole a vehicle from Albury, set fire to a tractor in Gundagai, before being caught in Goulburn.

NSW Police allege the 54-year-old drove the stolen vehicle to a South Gundagai property on Saturday.
The man allegedly entered the property and stole fuel from a parked tractor before setting fire to the tractor.
NSW Police said officers attended to stop the man as he drove along the Hume Highway and Muttama Road but he did not stop.

On Sunday, a member of the public alerted police to a man in a vehicle which was parted on the median strip of the Federal Highway near Goulburn.
The vehicle had been stolen from Albury.
The man was arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station where he was charged with numerous offences including damaging property by fire, stealing a motor vehicle, stealing fuel and failing to stop for police.
He was refused bail to appear at Goulburn Local Court later today.
