Daniel Paul Franco, 30, entered pleas to counts of police pursuit, disqualified driving and having custody of a knife in a public place in Wagga Local Court on Friday.
He will be sentenced in Albury Local Court on June 2 and will remain in custody.
The 30-year-old also admitted to drug possession, failing to appear on bail and having goods suspected of being stolen.
A third set of charges relates to drug possession and failure to appear on bail.
EARLIER: A drug driver has been dramatically arrested in a crashed car at gunpoint after trying to evade police.
Albury officers attended a separate single vehicle crash on the Ryan Road roundabout, near Burrows Road, about 1am on Friday.
A man in a white Mazda performed a U-turn in an apparent bid to avoid the police members.
Police gestured for the car to stop before pursuing it.
The car sped off and the driver turned the lights off before crashing in a centre median strip on Ryan Road.
Police smashed the car's window and forcibly removed the 30-year-old driver before locating a knife.
He tested positive to drugs.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Superintendent Paul Smith said it was "certainly a high risk arrest".
"Our police are out and about all the time, but during COVID-19 we have more police on the street than we've ever had before," he said.
"The chances of getting intercepted by police, especially late at night when you shouldn't be out, are higher than they ever were."
The man, who already had warrants out for his arrest and is well known to police, is due to face Wagga Local Court.
